Holiday Isle is a beautiful three-mile long island located in Destin, Florida along the northwest Panhandle of Florida. The island is very private with very little traffic and has sidewalks that are great for walking and jogging. Holiday Isle is considered a premier vacation spot where the dazzling white sands and crystal clear waters rival the Bahamas. Activities on or near Holiday Isle include hiking, biking, fishing and boating, swimming, snorkeling and diving, sailing, water-skiing, surfing, parasailing, jet skiing and golf. Nearby Destin is a small fishing village along the Emerald Coast that has consistently been voted as “Best Beach in the South” by Southern Living Magazine. The town sits on picturesque Emerald Bay and is well known for its superb fishing grounds and miles of white sand beaches. There are four beachfront parks in the area, and
Destin is home to an annual Seafood Festival, usually held in October. Some of Florida’s best seafood restaurants can be found in the Holiday Isle region, along with unique shopping, art galleries and nightlife. Holiday Isle is near the other Emerald Coast towns of Fort Walton Beach, Grayton Beach and Seaside.

The marina at Holiday Isle offers transient dockage, boat rentals, diving and snorkeling trips, sunset cruises and a large charter boat fleet.

One of the most exciting Keys experience is fishing. Nowhere else in the country do you have two completely different but equally challenging types of fishing. On one side of US 1 there is flats fishing in the backcountry of Florida Bay. Just on the other side of the highway is the Atlantic, with offshore, deep-sea fishing.
